Murple the Purple Flurple told us the story of ten men who had leprosy. They begged Jesus to heal them and Jesus did. The sad part of the story is that only one of the men came back to tell Jesus "thank you!"
How quick are you to tell others thank you? Have you thanked your mom or dad recently for providing a home, food, and clothing for you? Do you thank others for the kind things they do for you--giving you a present, spending time with you, taking you places you like to go, just being nice? Murple the Purple Flurple reminds us that it pleases God when we say a simple "thank you!"
Most of all, have you thanked God for sending Jesus to die for your sins? He loves you so much--that's why he allowed Jesus to suffer on the cross, so you and I would have forgiveness for our sins and so we can spend eternity in heaven! Now THAT is something to be thankful for! Thank you Jesus, for the gift of salvation!
